After getting LASIK, I have been visiting Dr. Davin Dong for a decade. He is always friendly, appointments are on time, the facilities are clean, he is VERY generous with his time, AND teaches me something new about the science of my eye every visit which I appreciate. For example, he explained using a computer simulation to show how astigmatism stretches your eye to increase the risk of retinal detachment. Even when I moved back to Long Island, I continued to visit him for my annual eye exam. I would recommend him as the go-to optometrist if you want to learn more about the science of your eye and want to know the best ways to keep your eyes healthy and strong.

Note: Dr. Dong was recommended by my LASIK surgeon, Dr. Mark Speaker, who is one of the most renowned corneal surgeons in the country (e.g., performed Ivanka Trump's LASIK).

Dr. Dong was so friendly and helpful. I was visiting from out of town and needed some contacts. I called all around town and only he was willing to help me! If I lived in New York he would definitely be my optometrist. It’s a small office and it shows he really cares about people and patients. Highly recommend!

I've been going here since I moved to NYC in 2016. Dr. Dong is very knowledgeable, cheerful, and is great at explaining both my prescription and my eyes' condition. He helped me choose new contacts and a daily care regimen to better cope with dry/irritated eyes from dry NYC apartments. He is also just a fantastic guy who takes a genuine interest in each of his patients (we've shared many fun conversations about our mutual love of cars!). His staff are incredibly friendly and do a great job of explaining insurance/billing info (they're also EXTREMELY patient as I take forever to decide on a new pair of eyeglasses!). Always a fantastic experience, definitely recommend!
